About Coutts Glamping

Our family first took over this peaceful glamping site in 2020. Set in beautiful gardens, with stunning views to the nearby Camel Estuary just a stone’s throw away, we aim to provide a peaceful backdrop to your holiday in Cornwall.

Everything you need for a relaxing stay...

Our accommodation ranges from cosy cabins and spacious tents to a whimsical shepherd’s hut, so whatever your glamping needs, we’ve got you covered!

You can find out more about our accommodation here, but whatever type you choose, you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday, including a pretty garden area with outdoor furniture for alfresco dining, a well-stocked kitchen annexe and a wood-burning stove to keep you snug and warm. You’ll also have your own toilet in our toilet & shower block, exclusively for your use.

As well as your own accommodation and garden, our glamping site has a number of communal areas which you are free to use during your stay. This includes a utility room with a fridge-freezer to store fresh food items (each of our lodgings has its own shelf), a social cabin with a TV and DVD player, a barbecue area and a beach hut with lockers, phone charging points and a large make up mirror. Go off the grid!

At Coutt’s glamping, we give our guests the chance to truly switch off from the stresses of everyday life. For that reason, we consider ourselves “off the grid!” If you’re looking for a holiday that takes you back to nature and gives you a break from endless doomscrolling – you’ve just found it! Come and enjoy Cornwall – unplugged.

Of course, we understand that creature comforts are also important. Our toilets are of the standard you’d have at home – no portable loos here! We also have modern, electric showers, running with hot water – the ideal start to a day of adventures in Cornwall!

Environmentally friendly holidays

Taking care of the environment is important to us, so we provide recycling facilities for our guests. All of the logs for our inside wood burners are environmentally friendly and locally sourced, as is the wood for our fire pits. Guests are encouraged to purchase wood on site and there is an honesty box for this purpose. The water for our showers, toilets and sinks is also run on a biodegradable system. Whilst this system means we’re doing our bit to keep Cornwall as green as possible, please note that only biodegradable items can be flushed. We provide bins for wipes, feminine hygiene products and all non-flushable items.
