TERMS & CONDITIONS

By making a booking, you agree that:

 

1. You have read all of these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them

2. You consent to our use of your information in accordance with our privacy policy

3. You are over 18 years of age or you are accompanied by a person over the age of 18.


 

1. General Terms

 

1.0 You are responsible for your personal possessions on the site, in your accommodation and in vehicles, We are not responsible for any loss or damage to these. If you leave personal possessions behind at the end of your stay, we will try to return them to you, at a cost to you but are not responsible for them.

 

1.1  You are allocated one car parking space per accommodation which are in the communal car park and no point are you allowed to drive beyond this point. We do not have facilities to charge hybrid or electric cars on site. If it is a vehicle larger than a car, please contact owners to make sure there is space to park it.

 

1.2 You are allocated 2 toilets rolls per stay, per accommodation.

 

1.3 Do not move the furniture in the tents, should the furniture touch the tent it will damage it and render it not waterproof and you will be liable for costs to repair/ replace the tent.

 

1.4 Do not move furniture in the cabins, shepherds hut, social cabin (surf side).

1.5 Do not take off the mattress or pillow protectors or sleep on them.

 

1.5 All our accommodation is non-smoking, and smoking and use of E-cigarettes/vaping are not permitted in any accommodation. If it is evident that there has been smoking/vaping/e-cigarettes in your accommodation you will be asked to leave and no refunds given. It is against the law to smoke in buildings open to the public (the social cabin - surf side, the toilets, the showers and the utility room). We provide a outdoor smoking area which is away from the accommodations due to safety aspects. 


1.6 Fires are not permitted anywhere outside the tents/cabins/shepherds hut, there is a designated fire pit area.

 

1.7 Each accommodation has its own designated toilet, with named sign on door.

 

1.8 The site has 2 shower cubicles which are shared between the 5 accommodations, do not leave any personal items in these cubicles. Wipe down and remove hair when finished in the cubicles, ready for the next guest.

 

1.9 All children must be supervised by parents or another responsible adult while on the site. 

 

2.0 We have the right to enter you accommodation for maintenance purposes or in special circumstances and in emergencies.

 

2.1 We may have to close facilities (for health and safety reasons, maintenance or reasons beyond our controls), we are not liable to compensate you if we do so.

 

2.2 The site has uneven ground, unmade paths and limited lighting. Please take special care to avoid accidents.

 

2.3 We have zero tolerance policy to firearms and offensive weapons. If you are in possession of a firearm or offensive weapon, we will ask you to leave immediately without refund.


 

1. Bookings and Payments

 

1.1  Our online booking system allows Guests to make a booking 24 hours a day:

 

1.2  A booking is confirmed on receipt of a 25% non-refundable deposit, or the full balance if travel date is within 6 weeks and once you have received written (via email) confirmation from us which may take up to 48 hours see 2a in Cancellations and Amendments regarding COVID, .

1.3  For all bookings that have a check in date of less than 6 weeks before check in, payment for the booking will be required in full and the entire booking will be non-refundable, see 2a in Cancellations and Amendments regarding COVID .

1.4 In order to confirm your chosen booking, you must pay a non-refundable deposit (a full payment if booking within 6 weeks of the date of your check-in), see 2a in Cancellations and Amendments regarding COVID.

1.5  We are sorry for any inconvenience, but payments can only be made in advance for bookings through stripe. We do not accept American Express, Cheques or Cash.

1.6  Where a deposit has been paid, full balance payment will be due 6 weeks in advance of your check-in date.

1.7  If the balance payment does not successfully go through as there is a problem with your card, such as it has expired or due to expire, then we will contact you and try to take alternative payment. If we are unable to receive/take payment of the balance after two weeks of the balance due date, we regret we will cancel your booking. (any monies already paid will not be refunded)

1.8 Card payments are processed via Stripe payment. We have no contact with your Card details.

1.9  Only those people on your booking can occupy your accommodation and anyone not named on your booking will be asked to leave the site. In these circumstances no refund or compensation will be given. You must bring ID with you as you may be asked for this on arrival or during your stay.

2.0  The total number in your party (including children and babies) must not exceed the maximum capacity of the accommodation advertised on the website or the number of persons specified on a booking confirmation may occupy a accommodation.  We reserve the right to refuse admittance or revoke a booking if this condition is not observe and you will not receive a refund.

2.1  Check-in time is between 4pm and 8pm on the day of arrival, check-out is 10am on day of departure. If you have not arrived by 10am the day after check in, your holiday will be cancelled and no refund given. When leaving please leave clean and tidy, you will be required to pay for any damages you cause to your accommodation during your stay.


 

2. Cancellations and Amendments by You

2a If COVID lockdown restrictions from the Government prevent you from travelling to us or us as a site from opening we will offer to transfer your holiday to a later date this year 2021 or in 2022 (subject to availability and prices differences) or a full refund.

2.1  Any cancellations or amendments requests must be sent to us by email and will be considered and will be responded to with 48 hours of receipt. You are also advised to confirm all changes by email (couttsglamping@icloud.com).  Please ensure you have received written (via email) confirmation of any changes to your booking prior to travel. Whilst we will always try to help, we cannot guarantee that such requests will be met.

2.2 Amendments and cancellations can only be accepted in accordance with the booking conditions.

2.3 Cancellations by you at any time will results in your deposit being forfeited, as all deposits are non-refundable.

2.4  All monies paid for a holiday (deposit and balance) are non-refundable within 6 weeks before check-in date.

2.5  Cancellation of any holiday after it has been paid in full and at a date of 6 weeks or more in advance of your check in date, will result in forfeiture of your deposit (or amount equivalent where one was not paid as holiday was paid in full) and the balance being returned to you.

 

2.6 Alterations to your Booking are subject to availability.

 

2.7 Differences in the total amount payable resulting from alterations will be either refunded to you incase of a decrease in price and paid to us by you in the case of increases in price.

 

 

3.  Changes and Cancellations by the Owner

If COVID lockdown restrictions prevent you from travelling to us or us as a site from opening we will over to transfer your holiday to a later date this year 2021 or in 2022 (subject to availabilty and prices differences) or a full refund.

We will inform you as soon as responsibly possible if the us the Owners need to make a significant change to your confirmed arrangements or to cancel them. 

 

If we find out we have undercharged you because of a mistake on our part, we will get in touch to put things right. We will give you the choice of cancelling you holiday for a full refund or paying the full price. If we have overcharged you by mistake, we will give you back the difference in price.

 

We reserve the right to refuse you and your party entry to our site, or ask you and your party to leave our site, if you or any member of your party breaches any of our terms and conditions and you will not receive any refund.

 

 

4. Beyond our control

 

Coutts Glamping is not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control like acts of god including earthquakes, cyclones, storms, flooding, fire, disease, fog, snow or frost.   Such circumstances shall include (but will not be limited to) war, terrorism, serious crime, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics or such similar events ("Force Majeure").  We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.

 

 

5. Complaints

 

In the event that you have any complaint about your stay, please notify us as soon as possible. If you don’t follow the procedure there will be less opportunity for us to investigate and resolve your complaint.

 

 

6. Pricing

 

We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct error in both advertised and confirmed prices. Changes and errors sometimes occur.

 

 

7. Information and Accuracy

 

The information and prices shown on this website may have changed by the time you come to make your booking.  Although we make every possible effort to ensure the accuracy of the website information, regrettably errors do occasionally occur. You must therefore ensure you check the price and all other details of your chosen booking on the confirmation email.

 

 

8. Animals

 

Please note no animals or pets are allowed on site and if it is found that you have brought a animal or pet with you, you will be asked to leave and no refunded will be given. Should you have a visitor on site they are also not allowed to bring a animal/pet, they would also be asked to leave.

 

 

9. Insurance

 

You are strongly recommend to take out personal travel insurance for all members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchased is adequate and appropriate for your particular needs. 

 

 

10. Group Bookings and Whole Site

 

Group bookings and whole site bookings may be possible, please contact owners direct through email (couttsglamping@icloud.com) to discuss availability and costs. There is a £100 deposit as security in the event of any damage by any member of the group on these bookings. If your behaviour is disruptive to other guests or unacceptable, you will be asked to leave the site and in this event no refund will be given.

 

 

11. Your Responsibilities 

 

People come to Coutts Glamping to unwind and relax in a peaceful environment. You are under a responsibility to behave in a proper, appropriate and legal manner whilst staying at the property with due respect to the Owners, the property and other guests and their property.  All music must be turned off by 10pm and noise must be kept to a minimum after that time.

 

You are responsible for informing us of any losses or damage to the property as soon as possible. Please note you will be liable to pay us for any losses or damage to the property caused by you or a member of your party (except reasonable wear and tear). You must always leave the property by the check out time specified on your booking. If any guests behaves inappropriately or improperly or illegally, we reserve the right to ask the guest and their party (at their discretion) to leave the property before the end of the holiday period and/or refuse any future bookings from you. No refund will be given.


 

12. Bed linen

 

Bedding costs are £3 per person per stay and need to be added at time of booking.

 

Bedding on double beds is a double quilt and cover, pillows, sheet and pillow cases (tent/cabins/shepherds hut)

 

Bedding on bunk beds is a single quilt and cover, pillow, sheet and pillow case  (Cabins)

 

Bedding on single sofa beds is a sleeping bag with liner, pillow, sheet and pillow case (cabins)

 

Bedding on single futons is a sleep bag with liner, pillow, sheet and pillow case (tents)

 

If sleeping bag is used without the liner, you will be liable for extra cleaning costs.

 

1 tea towel provided per stay, per accommodation.

 

No towels are provided
